  • What is Bioelectronics?
    Bioelectronics is a multidisciplinary field which integrates biology and electronics for diagnostic and therapeutic healthcare treatments.
  • What is the ATP connection?
    Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP) levels can be lowered during the inflammation phase of the healing cascade, increasing edema and pain, pushing out the reconstruction phase, and slowing rehab efforts. Sub 500 microamperage (uA) level electrical stimulation has been shown to increase ATP production by over 400% accelerating wound healing processes while decreasing inflammation and pain.(1) 1. Assuming circulation and available oxygen.
  • Ice is not safe?
    Ice can actually impede the healing process. And a bag of peas can also stain your couch. Here are some the problems with ice and most gel pacs. They are often too cold and can impede perfusion and circulation which slows the healing process - our cryo technology keeps skin temp at 41° F (± 1.5°) over four hours.   • When should I feel results when using microcurrent for wound care?
    Your results may vary, depending on length of your medical condition and the type of wound that you have. However, you will usually begin to see benefit within the first week of treatment understanding that optimal therapy may take 60 days or more, assuming daily and nightly use.
  • Is Micro-Zâ„¢ similar to TENS device?
    No. The Micro-Zâ„¢ is a DC Stimulator and TENS devices are AC Stimulators. The Micro-Zâ„¢ delivers stimulation in the micro amperage range instead of AC current, which doses in the milliamp range. In addition, our DC delivery is designed to go very deep into the tissue. A TENS device is not designed to do this, but rather stimulate the surface nerves.
  • How long is a Micro-Zâ„¢ treatment session?
    Micro-Zâ„¢ offers two program options - a thirty-minute program and an eight-hour treatment cycle. The eight-hour cycle can be used day or night, with the treatment sensation going on and off at programmed intervals. Both programs make it easy to customize the intensity and are completely safe.
